The ski school Intersport Pohorje organizes a parade on the ski slopes every year on Carnival Saturday. Children in costumes and participants from alpine schools ski down in a column/snake formation from the upper station of the circular cable car to the valley, ending either at the Stadium or Čopova slope depending on conditions.

The “Šolar na smuči” (Student on Skis) initiative is a nationwide project aimed at raising awareness about skiing among children. It provides elementary school students (4th grade for alpine skiing, 3rd grade for cross-country skiing) with a free, systematically guided skiing day at the Bejbika and Sleme locations. The implementation of “Šolar na smuči” is
