We are excited to announce the official opening of the cycling season and the entire cycling network at Bike Park Pohorje Maribor, making us officially the largest bike park in Slovenia with 9 exciting cycling trails. Join us at the season opening event!
Date: Saturday, May 11, 2024.
Time: 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., followed by entertainment until 10:00 p.m.
Locations: plaza in front of the lower station of the Pohorje cable car, Bellevue, and Areh.
Program of the 2024 Season Opening
The program of the Bike Park Pohorje Maribor opening will be extremely diverse and suitable for both families and experienced cyclists.
In the past year, we have renovated and enhanced the majority of existing trails at Bike Park Pohorje Maribor. On May 11, 2024, you’ll have the opportunity to try out 4 brand new trails for the first time, created by external experts from Alliance ASE and the Bike Park Pohorje Maribor team. In total, our bike park now boasts 9 trails – 2 green, 2 blue, 3 red, and 2 black.
You’ll be able to compete in dual slalom and the longest jump, test your skills in the cycling limbo, and showcase your best ‘parking trick’. In collaboration with our partners, we have prepared attractive prizes for the best performers!
At the main locations (in front of the lower and upper stations of the Pohorje cable car), you can visit booths with the latest innovations in mountain biking from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You’ll have the opportunity to consult with experts about the latest equipment or bikes themselves, try them out, and maybe even make a purchase.
Only this Saturday, the XL pass will also be available at a reduced price of 699 EUR for adults, 588 EUR for youth, students, and seniors, and 379 EUR for children
Selected DJs will ensure excellent musical atmosphere, and of course, drinks and snacks will be provided.
